By integrating cutting-edge technology and introducing a new line of clubbing themes that combines AR and clubbing, the club now offers an immersive and innovative nightlife experience. These changes have attracted a broader audience, solidifying Academy LA's reputation as a premier nightlife destination.

What is ARAVE?

"ARAVE" is a new series of clubbing events that combines augmented reality with the traditional clubbing experience. Each week, a different themed AR event will take place.

Back Camera 3D Filters

Special filters will be activated by scanning the "ARAVE" logo. When logo is recognized, 3D effects will appear on users' phones. Logos will be displayed on poles throughout the club, showing animations that sync with the music's beats.

REFLECTION

Here are some thoughts and process that I put into the Dell rebrand!

1.

Researching the Brand

Through this project, I truly understand how researching all aspects of a company can reflect the brand identity and make the company stand out from its competitors. During the first 6 weeks of this project, I really looked into what makes this tech giant an attractive option for consumers. I found out that Dell can allow users to customize all their products to their own liking, so I emphasized and built my rebranding concept around the customizable feature.

Designing Process

In the next 8 weeks, I created the design according to my brand attributes and elements. This process was quite challenging because it took me a while to decide on the look that would truly represent Dell and be classic and long-lasting. But overall, I think this project really portrayed the skills that's necessary for branding design and researching the company.

If I had more time…

If I had more time to this project, I would build out and prototype the entire app. I would also spend more time on the transmedia area and complete the entire experience.
