These three colors are used throughout the system, with the
different shades of teal used on the logo, and the navy used on
various backgrounds.
The primary typeface is used on
titles and headlines
The photographs focus on the lifestyle and emotions of using Dell. It should showcase where, when, and how Dell’s products could adapt to different environments. The color tone is warm to relate to daily life and express happiness.
Illustrations are illustrated in a minimalistic and simple style. All the corners are rounded to match with the brand image. They are used to put on the background
behind products to portray a lively feeling.
Icons will be used in the website and the app, the corners are also designed to be rounded to match the brand identity.
The secondary typeface is used as
body copy.

Through this project, I truly understand how researching all aspects of a company can reflect the brand identity and make the company stand out from its competitors. During the first 6 weeks of this project, I really looked into what makes this tech giant an attractive option for consumers. I found out that Dell can allow users to customize all their products to their own liking, so I emphasized and built my rebranding concept around the customizable feature.
In the next 8 weeks, I created the design according to my brand attributes and elements. This process was quite challenging because it took me a while to decide on the look that would truly represent Dell and be classic and long-lasting. But overall, I think this project really portrayed the skills that's necessary for branding design and researching the company.

The triangle represents Dell heading towards a complete new direction, having it move forward and upwards towards the road of innovation.
The squares that form the triangle also is an abstract representation of a cursor.
Each square represents Dell's customizable feature that everyone can create a product
designed for themselves, step by step, piece by piece.
The typeface is created by customizing
Helvetica by adding rounded edges to lowercase letters. This create a friendly and
trustworthy feeling.
The added rounded corner to the letter "d" symoolizes the outline of a laptop.
