Los Angeles Olympics 2028 Rebrand Guidline
The Los Angeles 2028 Olympics is a place full of energetic athletes and audiences. Everyone from around the world comes to the Olympics every 4 years to experience the premium event. With such a competive event coming up, let the games begin!
This logo is inspired by the important symbol, the ribbon, of the Olympics. It combines the acronym of Los Angeles, LA, and make it into one letter. The logo also gives contrast between organic shapes that is represented by the ribbon forming an L, and the geometric shape that is represneted by the letter A.
The Los Angeles 2028 Logo comes in three versions: the colored version, black version, and white version.
The clear space determines how to use the logo properly in relation to image or text around it. This guide shows the minimum clear space on all sides of the logo. More space is always recommended.
Observing the minimum allowable size allows us to maintain integrity and clarity by preventing legibility and production-related challenges.
Below is a list of common brand identity violations to be avoided.
A brand guideline of the rebrand of the current LA 2028 Branding.
The color choices are inspired by the colors of the holy olympics logo. The colors are toned down to portray a preimium feeling. Including all the colors, this color palette strives to include all kinds identity in the LA 2028 Olympics.
The primary and secondary typefaces are both sans serif fonts. Together, they harmonize through their different structures and elements. They give the brand more unity and diversity altogether.
A pattern in the format below could be used to overlay on images or be used alone as a background to portray the unity in the system. Only the colors red, blue, and green can be used.
This is inspired by the idea of diversity. With the monochromatic color choices, the pieces unite together as one, yet each piece is sliced out, creating this unique pattern.
In some cases, the pattern of the brand could be overlayed on top of the images with opacity to create a unique and cohesive system.
Posters will advertise the LA 2028 Olympics that will take place in Los Angeles. They will be placed within different parts of the city where it can be easily seen.
Banners showcase the most important information about the games within the citylights of Los Angeles.
The website will be a place where people obtain information about the games. It will include details about the LA 2028, game plans, shop and additional facts and updates during the game.
The application would be a mobile version of the website. People and fans can access it easier on their phones.
The signage is a helpful guide that can be found around the stadium and game locations. It will provide direc-tions and distances for fans and audience to find their desired locations.

The tote bag is a souvenir for everyone participating or watching the Olympics to have something to hold their personal belongings, while still showing the Olympic spirit.

The current branding is quite confusing because they have multiple logos. The branding has too much going on at the same time, so our assignment for this studio was to create a rebrand for LA28.
Refine on the magazine and improve on the layouts.

The enamel pin is a souvenir for everyone that wants to show the Olympics spirits by wearing it on their clothes or accessories.
The vehicle will be used to transport the athletes between the different venues and also the Olympic village.
The lanyard will be available for the athlets and the press to identify themselves so that they can be let into special areas of the venues.
The stationary set would be given by the managers of the LA 2028 Olympics to athletes or fans that need to contact them.
